Grand Ronde Lidded Basket

This is an unusual Grand Ronde basket. It has a flat lid and two loop handles on opposite sides of the basket. It has two dark bands with slanted light lines which run around the body of the basket. It has a narrow band around the inside of the lid. The basket has a braided rim and the lid has a braided rim and a braided edge on the top of the lid's perimeter. The basket is in very good condition without breaks or splits. This will be a good addition for anyone who collects Western Oregon baskets.
