Modoc Basket

This is an interesting Modoc basket. The design is a banded pattern of alternating wide bands of beargrass and narrower bands of tule woven over tule warps. The weft material on the bottom of the basket is a different material from the tule and beargrass used on the body of the basket. This is a good piece for a collector
