Large Quinault Basket with Dogs Around the Rim

This is an interesting old basket. It has a vertical repeated band of large and wide sideways "V's" covering the body of the basket. Above the design and just under the rim is a plain band with large dogs with their tales up. The basket is dark but generally in good condition. There is one internal break with a missing stitch on one of the dogs but is not noticeable unless one is looking for it. A good old Washington twined basket.
