Lower Klamath River Basket

This is a good basket with an attractive horizontal design. The design is composed of a Woodwardia dyed sawtooth band below the rim facing down and a similar band near the base facing up. This creates a wide band of lighter colored joined arrowheads around the body of the basket which is bisected by a narrow band. The rim is wrapped with beargrass above a band of exposed warps below the rim. The basket is in excellent condition without breaks or tears but is missing the beargrass wrapping on the rim in two places.
