Exceptional Navajo Teec Nos Pos Rug

This is an outstanding Navajo Teec Nos Pos rug with a complicated design in a bouquet of colors. It is so much more than the basic design features of two large outlined stepped diamonds within a warm gray background and the large black crosses set in white fields within each diamond. The field, both inside and outside the central diamonds are covered with smaller outlined arrow points, shafts, crosses, diamonds, triangles and zigzags in various hues of red, green, black, blue and maroon and the wide black border has an interlocking white design meandering through its center all the way around the rug. This is a beautiful and exciting piece of Navajo weaving at its best.
