Large Three Rod Pomo Basketry Bowl

This is a beautiful large bowl shaped 3 rod Pomo basket.  The design is sharp and dynamic.  There are not any brakes in the rim or body of the basket.  There are a total of seven stitches missing on the rim in 5 separate places and less than 20 stitches missing on the body.  There are several tiny worm holes in the body which happened before the last owner acquired the basket.  This will be a wonderful addition to a collection of Native American baskets.
