Exceptionally Finely Woven Panamint Basket

This is an unusually finely woven oval Panamint basket with an artfully sparse design.  I counted 12 coils per inch with  33-35 stitches per inch.  Who ever the weaver was, she was a master of the craft.  If you appreciate really fine baskets, you may well consider this masterful basket.
