Los Castillo Pitcher with Inlaid Abalone Bird Handle

This exotic fat little hand-hammered pitcher has a long beaked bird with a copper head and three feather crest sitting on the rim and forming the top of the handle. The bird has abalone inlaid eyes and body, with the abalone inlay extending down its back and tail, continuing the length of the handle. It is marked Los Castillo Plateado. This is one of those marvelous shelf pieces with a touch of humor that will give you pleasure whenever you eye lights on it.
