Large 19th Century Eskimo Bow Drill

This is a large curved ivory bow drill with designs of kayaks on three faces and what appear to be sea otter pelts on the 4th face. The bow has a rich old yellow-gold color and has part of the cordage on one end. The style of the kayaks scrimshawed on this piece is that of 19th century kayaks from the Seward Peninsula in the Bering Sea.
