Hopi Maiden Figure by Darlene Nampeyo
Ceramic figure of Hopi maiden wearing a headdress with two off-center projections. The figure is painted in traditional Hopi designs with a cornstalk painted on the highest projection on her headdress,, which represents the Corn Clan, Darlene Nampeyo's clan. Darlene is a great, great granddaughter of Nampeyo of Hano. The piece is signed with her name and a corn on the base.
