Sgraffito Decorated Redware Seed Jar by Kwa Povi (Stella Tanner)

This is a wonderful etched redware San Juan pottery seed jar by Kwa Povi (Stella Tanner 1937-2006) and her son Tsigowanu (Roy Tanner).  The piece has a polished surface with an etched design of a large buffalo with a turquoise eye. The artistry is excellent and there is not any condition problems. It is signed on the bottom, Kwa Povi.  It will be a pleasure to look at in your home.
