Large Old Cowlitz Berry Basket

This is a really good Cowlitz basket. It is fully imbricated and has a strong design of four V's which extend from the rim to the base. The vertical elements in the design are black and the horizontal elements are a reddish brown and these contrast very well against the warm gold of the beargrass background. In the open area along the bottom is a stacked triangular design. It is a great old basket in very good condition without breaks or warn areas. If you appreciate older classic baskets, this will be a pleasure to own.
