Figural Fully Imbricated Huckleberry Basket

This is a very desirable Plateau huckleberry basket with three rows of female figures around it. Three rows! Wow! Some of the figures are reddish brown and others are dark. The imbrication is small and the basket is generally in great condition and does not have any breaks. There is one small area next to one of the brown figures that has some loss of the beargrass imbrication. This effects 13 folds in that area. It can be seen in the first photograph to the lower left of the middle figure. A wonderful addition to any collection of Plateau basketry or as a single example from the Northwest.
