Unusual Inuit Bone Fishing Lure with Circle & Dot Motif & Lead Inlays

This lure is carved from old bone in the form of a fish with a small tail and a large head. The head has two large lead eyes and behind the head inlaid in lead is a ¾" long fish form. Along both sides of the lure are four circle and dot motifs. The hook is a bent small square nail. The leader coming out of the back is a two strand wire doubled back upon itself and twisted. The lure is old with a rich brown surface. A great and unusual piece to own.
