Large Tlingit Basket

This is a handsome and well woven Tlingit cylinder shaped large basket. It has two horizontal bands with a greek key pattern which alternates between orange and brown. It has three narrow horizontal framing bands with small brown diamonds with orange centers which define the two larger bands. The basket is in excellent condition with no breaks, tears or repairs. It does have a pin hole in the top framing band which is visible if you hold the basket up to the light.
