Basketry Yup'ik kayak Model

What a great model of a Yup'ik kayak complete with the raised circular opening on the bow. The ingenuity and craftsmanship of this model is a pleasure to explore as you look how the artist has widened or contracted the coiled stitches to give the kayak its shape. If you like the shape of the traditional kayak or are a kayak lover or enjoy folk art, this is a piece for you.  I don't know if it gets much better.
