Walrus Ivory Carved Goose Card Holder

This is a dual purpose carving.  As a piece of Eskimo art, it is a nicely carved snow goose sitting on a base in front of a curved backboard.  As a card or message holder, it sits in front of a curved backboard which is slit at the top to hold a card or message. The carving is handsome as a shelf piece but it is also handy for holding messages.
