Wonderful Tramp Art Lidded Box

This is a well designed and executed lidded chip carved box. It has the same design motif on the two side panels and a different design on the front panel and on the back panel. It is footed and lined on the inside. It has some damage. It is missing a 3 ½" section on the front of the lid and there is some loss on three of the feet, with old wood reinforcement on the inside of two of these. That being said, the damage doesn't interfere with the overall look and presence of this great tramp art box.
