Tlingit Beaded Wall Pocket

A dramatic and colorful shield shaped Tlingit beaded wall pocket on black felt with a central figure of a bald eagle with outstretched wings. It is edged with a pale yellow binding around the outside and the opening with white seed beads edging the black felt and opalescent seed beads along the outer edge of the binding. The bag is in very good condition but it has a small moth hole below the right side of the eagle and some moth holes and staining on the back. There is a native tanned loop attached to the back for hanging.
