Inuit Ivory Snow Kinife with Figural Handle

This is a large walrus ivory snow knife with a fanciful marine critter on the handle end.  It has a delicate "fishbone" pattern with red "dots" on the ends which starts along the bottom at the critter's back flipper and extends about half way to the end of the snow knife.  Along the upper edge of the piece is a series of scrimshawed small "V's" and aboe these are a series of red circle and dots spaced about 1" apart.  The top of the blade ha spaced X's and red circle and dots.  The body of the marine critter has tiny srimshawed and inked pin pricks.  This is a wonderful Inuit piece to own.
