Soap Stone Bear by Inuit carver Levi Alasua Pirti Smith

This is a small carving of a bear crawling up on a rock to look around. It is signed on the bottom "Levi Smith" and numbers. Levi Smith, whose full name was Levi Alusua Pirti Smith (1927-1986) was a well known Canadian Inuit carver.
