Santa Clara Incised Jar by Lee and Betty Tafoya

This is a beautiful Santa Clara jar by Lee Tafoya (1926 -1996) and his wife Betty (1233-1988) with an incised geometric design around the body of the jar. Lee made the body of the jar and the incising and Betty did the polishing. The incising is deep and precise and the polishing is lusterous. It mid signed in pencil “Betty & Lee Tafoya, Santa Clara” and the date 8-7-76. There is a very tiny shallow abrasion on the rim.
