Pit River Basket

This is an exceptionally nice Pit River basket. It is large, with a finely drawn design and tight even weaving. The diamond design which is repeated four times around the body is crisp and pleasing. The only flaw is a nick in the rim braid which is ⅛"  wide. This basket will stand out on a shelf by itself or sitting among a group with other baskets.
