Partially Imbricated Plateau Huckleberry Basket
This is a large and very handsome Plateau huckleberry basket, commonly called a "Klickitat basket". It was probably woven at Warm Springs or Yakima. The basket has a design of six vertical bands of four arrowheads pointing down, equally spaced around the basket. The rim has loops across the top to tie down the berries. The coiling and imbrication are very well done.
