Lidded Globular Puget Sound Basket

This is an unusual Puget Sound basket. It is globular in shape and has a flat lid with a knob on it. It is partially imbricated with a design of four horizontal bands of stepped diamonds in bear grass and an imbricated circle on the lid. It is a handsome piece and in excellent condition.
