Pair of Framed Photographs of Eskimos by BB Dobbs
Two handsome full length photographs that show a young Inuit man and a young Inuit woman in native dress. The young man has a copyright of 1904 in the negative and the image of the young woman has a copyright of 1903. B. B. Dobbs (1868-1937) was a professional photographer who moved to Alaska in 1900 and was active in Nome until he moved to Seattle in about 1914. The images are glued to period stock which has a cedar wood pattern.
