Classic Maidu Basket

A classic Maidu basket with a triangular pattern in redbud composed of positive and negative triangles repeated three times around the basket. It is missing 14 stitches on the rim and two on the bottom.  With the exception of one area missing 3 stitches and another missing 2 stitches, the rest are single stitches that are missing. The body of the basket is in excellent condition. The basket is visually attractive and the missing stitches do not detract from the overall appeal of this basket.
