Large Partially Imbricated Puget Sound Basket

A sturdy, well executed partially imbricated huckleberry basket with a strong design composed or four large diamond shaped forms with two small crosses between the diamond forms. The diamond sections are composed of alternating dark reddish brown and natural bear grass triangles.  The basket has loops across the top and a band of imbrication around the bottom of the basket.  It is probably Nisqually or Puyallup and in excellent condition.
