Large Klickitat Butterfly Basket by Nettie Kuneki

This is a large fully imbricated polychrome Klickitat basket by Nettie Kuneki, a well-known and respected Klickitat basketmaker. It has two bands of large colorful butterflies around the body of the basket. The previous owner bought it from Ms. Kuneki in 1985.  It is an impressive basket and is in excellent condition.
