Klamath Quilled Basket

This is an exceptionally well made and artistically designed basket. It has straight sides and small, even stitches. It was designed so the lower half is woven in a reddish background and the upper half in a lighter tan color. The opposed triangles in the body of the basket have a checkered pattern of dark brown and natural quill rectangles. This is a great basket for the discriminating collector.
