Jemez Polychrome Jar by Mary Tosa

This is a good looking full bodied olla with a complicated design pattern in red and black on a cream base.  It has two bands of design.  The largest goes around the middle of the olla.  It has three design panels which are repeated twice.  A smaller design band covers the upper body and has a design panel which is repeated six times.  The olla is in excellent condition and is signed on the bottom.  This is a good looking pottery piece and will show well on a table or shelf
