Inuit Carved Walrus Ivory Small Spoon with Seal Handle

This is one of those small little objects that for all its simplicity, is quite delightful. The spoon is in the shape of a mustard spoon with a shallow bowl and thick handle. But...at the end is seal facing outward with its rear flippers seemingly pushing against the spoon handle. The plump little seal is very seal like. The piece is carved from very old mellow ivory.
