Hopi Pottery Bowl by Leah Nampeyo (1928-1974)
$ 1,500.00
This is an early pottery bowl with a lug at one end for hanging, by Leah Nampeyo, a granddaughter of Nampeyo. It has a wonderful folky image of a large bird with two "antennas" on its head in the interior of the bowl. The bird image is so fanciful, it will give you great delight every time you look at it. It is signed on the bottom with an ear of corn. It still has the original $8.00 price on the bottom.
H. 3 ¼"; D. 10 ½"
