Small 1960 Hopi Katsina

This is a very pleasing small Hopi Katsina with dynamic black and yellow coloring. It has a beak and lug ears and stands as if at attention, with its forearms parallel to the ground.  The coloring is like a black and yellow bird or a yellow jacket. It has a cotton cord for hanging which was attached around the neck before the body was painted.  Unfortunately, the cord was cut at the knot at some point.
