Hooper Bay InuitLidded Basket

This is a more innovative example of a Hooper Bay basket than usual. The woman who made it used stitches that encompassed two coils to make the design on the basket more interesting. She has also used a wider palette of soft colors on the basket to add to the interest of the basket. This is a good example of Inuit basketry.
