Two Halves of a Makah Composite Whale Harpoon

These are two separate halves of a Northern Washington three part composite whale harpoon, the third part being the blade. These are both carved from bone and were both used. Although they came from the same collection, I don't know that they were part of the same harpoon. These are usually identified as Makah.
