Haida Frog Pin by Bill Reid

This wonderful Haida frog pin by Bill Reid is produced from a mold of his  original 22k gold frog pin that was created in 1971, using the repoussé technique. The original gold frog is now on permanent display at the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, BC. This sterling silver frog is an open edition casting  and was finished by hand and stamped with the artist’s crest, ‘the wolf’ hallmark, on one foot.
