German Wood Carved Castle Pipe
It is a beautifully carved wood pipe that features a castle tower with a drawbridge over a moat and four mounted knights crossing the bridge. The top of the tower is hinged and covers the smoking chamber, which has a metal insert in it. The tower has five open chimneys which allow the pipe to be smoked with the top closed. The pipe has a metal insert at the back for the stem. This is a fabulous piece of art was influenced by the Austrian painter Moritz Von Schwind and verses written by Ernst, Barron Von Feuchtersleben.
