Fully Imbricated Klickitat Huckleberry Basket

This basket is richly decorated with the classic Klickitat design built around three large "V's". The "V's" are composed of five conjoined bands of rectangles. The two outer bands are dark brown dyed cedar bark and the center band is mahogany dyed cedar bark. The other two inner bands are dyed beargrass in a very warm honey color. The color combination is especially pleasing. The basket was used and is in excellent condition.
