Elsie Thomas Fully Imbricated Figural Basket

This is a beautiful fully imbricated polychrome Klickitat berry basket by the master Klickitat basketmaker, Elsie Thomas. It has the classic Klickitat design of three large joined "V's" between two dark bands. In the open spaces created by the design, the basket has a large standing figure in cedar bark. The basket was purchased from Elsie Thomas in 1986. It is in mint condition.
