Mono Lake Paiute Footed Basket

This basket is a small gem.  It is beautiful to look at with a complicated design in black set against the golden tone of the background.  The craftsmanship and artistry demonstrated by the weaver of this basket is extraordinary.  The stitch count on this basket is in excess of 45 stitches per inch. The basket is in perfect condition.
