Double-Sided Plateau Beaded Flat Bag with Bead Fringe

This is an intriguing bag.  It is a two sided bag in a shield like form.  Both sides have geometric designs and most importantly, all of the beads are tiny cut beads which were prevalent among the Plateau tribes east of the Yakima tribe in the late 19th century and went out of fashion around 1900.  These faceted beads make the bag's designs sparkle.  The beading on this bag is very fine and the designs work very well.  It is a striking bag.
