Chehalis Basket

This is a very pleasing basket with two wide bands of design around the body and loops around the rim. The two bands of design are dyed what looks like a red/purple berry stain. Within these bands are a number of narrow two-step lines going up and to the right. The basket is in excellent condition and will make a very handsome addition to your collection or will give you quiet pleasure sitting by itself on a shelf or table.
