Small Beaded Plateau Flat Bag

This is a pretty small Plaateau flat bag. The beaded panel was done around 1910 or a little earlier. It was re-bagged with red velvet edging and back as well as red velvet handles, unusual but charming. Another unusual element of this bag is that the beading on the background is vertical rather than the much more common horizontal beading. It was collected from a Yakima family. It is in excellent condition.
