Quinault Basket with Loops

This is a classic Quinault spruce root basket with a great design of closely spaced vertical zigzag bands running around the basket with small single dots or basketry within the bands. The background is vertically striped with alternating bands of light brown spruce root and light colored beargrass. There is a band of right triangles running the rim.  The basket still has most of its loops, missing three with one other broken in the middle. This is a handsome basket.
