Pima Basket with Checkered Motif

This basket has a wonderful checkered design creating almost a four petal flower.  It is well made with small stitches and a braided rim.  It is in excellent condition.  It has a small hole in the base, possibly made to nail it to the wall as some collectors did in the early 20th C.
