Old Tohono O'odham (Papago) Basketry Plate

This is a nice old Tohono O'odham basketry plate with a classic design of various design  elements spiraling out from a wide dark center. The basket uses a stepped band and a band of three hook latches alternating with each other going up from the base. The basket was used but is in great condition. There are two small holes in the dark bottom which were used to put a small wire through to put the basket on a wall.
