Large Old Makah Lidded Basket

This is one of those old, darkened Makah baskets with dark colors which have not faded. It is a two story high basket with the lidded opening raised up about a ½" in from the basket's rim. The basket has a black fence-like band around the middle between narrow bands and a zigzag design on the top of the lid.  it is in very good condition.
