Stunning Sterling Silver and Inlay Pendant by Roy Talahaftewa

$ 1,600.00

This is a fabulous pendant by the highly acclaimed Hopi artist, Roy Talahaftewa. The pendant utilizes traditional Hopi overlay with tufa casting and stone inlay. The overlay design in the overlay is complicated but cohesive with a tapered band of stone inlay, including spiderweb turquoise and coral, crossing the overlay at a diagonal to the piece. The artist is from the 2nd mesa village of Shungopavi and is a member of the Young Corn clan.  His work has received numerous awards in Santa Fe, Gallup, and at the Heard Museum including best of the show. If you are interested in owning an outstanding piece of jewelry from a great silversmith, this is a piece you should strongly consider.
