Lidded Makah Basket with Whaling Scene

This is pleasing basket with good colors and design. The basket has a dome shaped lid with a maroon colored knob. The design has a whaling canoe with three rowers and a forth man standing with a long harpoon and a large whale is in front of it. The colors have faded but they are still strong enough that the design stands out. This will be a nice addition to a collection or good object to display.
